I miss having the uniforms running around, as weird as that sounds...you're making me nostalgic. Günther looks so very handsome in my memories, as Hans does in that picture.

Thanks for sharing Laurasia.. when you went to the Holocaust Museum when you were younger, do you remember seeing boots and the SD patch in the display?

Msmir, I am not sure about Laurasia, but I saw the uniform on Tuesday (the SD uniform) and while it was similar, it was different; it kind of looked wooley (the SS cloth was more of a heavy suit-like material from what I remember (I ironed Günther's and Fritz's uniforms, and that is what I remember, but I could be wrong) and it was just...a bit different from the SS uniform. The pants look the very close, if not the same, to the SS uniform.

Yeah they all did have their different styles, very true! I need to get to the local museum too, maybe on the 19th... that would be a perfect day for me.

Thanks for sharing Laurasia.. when you went to the Holocaust Museum when you were younger, do you remember seeing boots and the SD patch in the display? Hi Miriam. No, I don't recall any Nazi uniforms being on display at the Holocaust museum. There were only pictures, & that one video, of Nazis from what I recall. There were various Allied uniforms on display, but no actual Nazi uniforms. In fact I was unaware that there even was such a thing as the SD patch until after I had done this wardrobe meditation & had noticed that Hans had that triangle on his sleeve. Once I realized that I decided to research for what could have been on his uniform there & in a triangle shape. I stumbled across the SD patch & realized that was likely it. For myself the differences between my old SS uniform & my SD uniform are rather vast since I have only recalled what seems to be the two uniforms from the beginning of my career & the end of it. So one is the standard black & the other is grey. Sincerely, Laurasia

It sounded like at the time there was less but I wonder if more was added to the museum, since it was quite some time since you were there... I hope to get to the local one next Friday, I am not sure how much will be there but I am feeling compelled to go so I must.

I would be interested in visiting another Holocaust museum myself, but there aren't any in my area. Hey if you feel so drawn to go to one i'm sure that there is a reason for it. Be sure to let us know how it goes. Sincerely, Laurasia

Yes I will go with my gut on this one and won't question why I will definitely tell you how it goes!

I want to go to the local museum. Nonetheless, I am not sure when I'll be in shape to do so- emotionally and physically. I definitely remember those uniforms. Both in my last incarnation, and while I was staying behind in spirit during the worst times.
Blessed Be, Andi

Blessed Be, Andi Yeah...I think when you know the time you're ready for it...it'll be the best thing for you. No need to rush into it--even going into the museum in DC (in the rare visits I have) can be distressing, and it has made me anxious before. But I do keep going back because I know more each time, and I find that interesting, and rather noteworthy. But not all are ready yet, and once you are I do hope you'll be okay. ^^

Meditative Exercise: Talents, Hobbies, & Interests
(This is the question/answer section of yet another meditative exercise from my Edgar Cayce book. This exercise was centered on exploring one's talents, hobbies, &/or interests in order to find a past life connection to them.
I believe that the recollection which eventually came through may have been of when Hans first took over Chelmno in March of 1942.)
1) What talent or hobby did you choose to think about?
Doing my online Administrative work. I was correcting/guiding others, granting permissions to some, building sites & drafting up rules/guidelines for members to follow.
2) Briefly describe the setting.
I am at my computer desk. There is swing music playing in the background. The dehumidifier fluctuates between being noisy & being very noisy as it does its' job.
3) What changes occured when the new setting came up?
I am sitting at a wooden desk in the NW corner of a room. (I could only view this scene as though I were someone looking over my own shoulder.) I am in full Nazi military dress, except for my hat - which is sitting on the corner of my desk. The room has two high windows near my desk & one door on the opposite corner of the room.
There are two inferior officers at a desk kiddy-corner to me that are drinking what appears to be coffee & are chatting. They are more relaxed/casual, having removed their uniform jackets. I remember thinking that they were immature slackers. I am working on a couple of different papers. One is guidelines for the officers of the camp & the other is work details for them. It's a bit stuffy in the room. I can hear the work being done in the camp outside of this building while guards yell at prisoners.
4) Was your work or talent altered in anyway?
It was now done on paper & was "more official".
5) How would you describe your mental state when you engage in your talent/hobby?
Serious. Not liking to be interrupted. I try to get as many things done as possible, which leads me to constantly find new things to work on or improve. This causes many things to remain undone for a time.
6) Did any new thoughts or feelings come to mind with the setting change?
The seriousness deepened. The urge to reprimand the two that were being distracting. I was more thorough in getting individual items finished - though I was still multi-tasking.
7) Your thoughts on possible explanations for the setting change.
Clearly this was my work within one of the Nazi camps. Most likely when I became Commandant of Chelmno, as I was in a high position.
Sincerely, Laurasia

Whoa, that was pretty interesting to read. Hans was quite the bureaucrat, wasn't he?
