Oh lets see, anyone experiencing moments of pure and annoying chaos?? Like what goes wrong could go wrong? I am an astrologer, and I realize that not everyone here is going to believe in astrology and hey.. that is fine. I totally respect that. But I will still go on. For those who do believe in astrology, you will realize what I am talking about. That kind of stuff is starting to happen a lot because Mercury, the planet of communication and movement is going into retrograde where the outter energies are weak. I understand chaos will always happen regardless of the condition of Mercury, but when it's nearing and in the retrograde period, everything goes nuts! Like appointments will be missed, calls or emails will not go through, power outages will happen, electrical appliances break down, the car will break down, misunderstandings happen, poor communication happens, travel plans are delayed, oh yes it's a challenging time.
We have just entered the period where Mercury is getting ready to go into retrograde or it's "shadow" and you will start experiencing a lot of that kind of stuff. More than usual anyway.
So what happened to me the day Mercury entered it's shadow? We had a nice power outage and the hydro company had NO idea that it even happened. Oh and then the toilet handle just broke off, we had to call a plumber immediately and he was late! He did not even warn us that he would be late. And then today I had an appointment with someone who is usually quite reliable for 12:45pm, and she missed it! She had marked me for 12:15 and that is why! The cable and internet was not in the best shape either! Yep, very frustrating!
It is never a good idea to start anything new during this time, or to make any big purchases, make any big decisions. Your thoughts will not be clear. However, Mercury in retrograde, as frustrating as it is has it's benefits too. It is a great time to take some alone time to clear clutter, clean closets, access past life memories as they may come into your dreams more often. You will also make some new discoveries about yourself at this time too as it is a great time to be reflective. This is also a good time to finish up old projects, like editing a manuscript (definitely not creating a new one if you write). Yes, even though spiritually Mercury in retrograde is a beneficial time.. stuff happens during this time still makes us go batty! So I will have to call it, a period of madness! And this period of madness officially starts on August 20th, and ends on September 12th. However, some kinks still need to be worked out and it is completely safe to start new projects, new changes, or make big decisions after the 27th of September. And if you had planned to do something big during Mercury in retrograde it does not necessarily mean it will always blow up in your face.
Mercury in retrograde is a time where fated events happen too. For instance if you have a sudden urge to purchase a new car which is really not recommended during this time, but this urge is overwhelming you, then do it! It may be a lifesaving issue here, because if you have a real urge like this, it may mean your old car could break down to the point that a fatal accident may occur. Never make important decisions during this time but ALWAYS trust your instincts that come from your heart, not your mind! Just I thought I would share this tidbit! Be well,
