Yep  I remember Iseke asking about chemically altered crystals on the group I had (I chose to delete it for several reasons and figured to just move everything over here). The types Iseke was talking about was ones like the Angel Aura, Aqua Aura, etc. And how people felt about them and their experiences in using them. |

ChrysocollaHi guys. I've been working on some recent chakra issues lately &, thusly, my moods/irritability have been out-of-whack. So the night before last I started to use my crystals/gemstones again to help get them back into a more regulated state. One that I have been finding very beneficial at this time is my Chrysocolla. I am using it in its' capacity to change negative energy into positive. One interesting (possible) side effect of having it on me all day yesterday was that I was inexplicably drowsy much of the day & kept nodding off. I jokingly told Miss Bothmann that maybe I had been so full of negativity that needed to be converted that it was just easier for my system to suht down in order for the exchange to happen.  It does seem to have been doing what I need it to do though. While I did have a couple of quick flare-ups of my temper (due to some of my typical triggers), the persistent generalized irritabilty has lessened since I started carrying the Chrysocolla. I actually go through periods like that myself - the body is so busy 'processing' the energy that it is easier for one to be asleep (at rest) so that all aspects of the body - mental and physical - can go through the transitional changes.

I know that it sounds pretty basic, but I have found that the best mood lifter for me is Amethyst. It also helps me transition the negative into the positive. I have a huge chunk of it that I keep next to me bed for when I am feeling overwhelmed.

There was a comment I was given from another forum I had since left, and it was along the lines of my being attracted to (although I don't think that was what she used - it may have been drawn to) these obscure minerals. I don't know why, but that seems to be a sort of 'long standing' thing with me.
It's almost always some 'uncommon' stone for some reason. This isn't to say I don't have, or have never used the more 'basic'/common stones, but it just seems like it's these 'uncommon' types that I go with.
Right now I'm using my Shungite with my Ferrierite and I think this is a sort of 'stop-gap' measure until I can get the essences next month - although I will still carry them anyway even after I get them.

In my opinion, I don't feel that anything natural would be "obscure". You just happen to respond to "lesser known" minerals maybe more than most. And then, considering many people do not know about these other resources, they only hear about the most common, and therefore use them. I know that I have been educated on many of these stones that I had never heard of or have heard mention of briefly. I would be very intrigued to see if some of these would work for me as well as my amethyst does. |
