I might be making a mistake posting this in an open forum, hopefully not, but here goes anyway. I wanted to get some opinions on what this might mean, if anything.
I have my own theory but I'll withhold it for now. I'm mostly curious what others' initial impressions are.
For a long time I've dreamed of deer. The typical dream always goes something like this: I am out in the woods and I hear a great deal of crashing to my left and a big buck deer shows up. He always touches the ground with his nose and I know I'm supposed to climb up onto his back. Perspective changes to the third person view and I do climb up, grasping his antlers, and he bounds off into the deep woods. I don't know where he and I go. I think that the first time that I had the dream, he taught me some things but that was over 15 years ago and I'm sorry to say I didn't pay too much attention!
Now I've had the dream again, only this time it's entirely from the first person. There's snow on the ground instead of it being summer or autumn, and the woods are quiet. There is the body of a soldier in German WW2 uniform slumped over a fallen tree. He's definitely dead, not moving, the snow's accumulated on his back. The stag shows up again, only this time touches his nose to the soldier's back. After a short time the soldier stirs and seems to be alive again. (This is not a zombie dream, lol) The deer beckons, the soldier climbs up on his back and off they go in the direction we always do.
I don't feel like I'm "watching" this happen, it's just like a movie plays out, if anything it feels exactly like the usual dreams only there's snow and a dead soldier this time. It's always a Whitetail, too, which bothers my OCD in this case because they're native to the Americas
Anyway. Thanks guys.
