This is Mitzi, our new pet mouse. She is the most curious, fearless little thing you'll ever meet. We had originally bought a pair of females (Maeghan was the other one & she was a black & white long-haired), but things didn't work out with keeping Maeghan. She preferred to have a place all to herself & made that quite plain; so, sadly, we had to return her. Mitzi is doing great though. She happily eats the food that is good for her (shocking I know! LOL!) & loves to explore & play. Sincerely, Laurasia

Oh bless - glad you have a new mousy companion Laurasia. Talking of cute rodents - me and my girls met these gorgeous squirrels in a churchyard, on our trip to Devon. ;D They were amazing, one was rolling around with this stick, like a little performance and some of them came right up to us, if you made a kissy noise - like you do a cat! Honestly my hubby was just stood there raising his eyes at us soppy mares cooing over these bloomin' squirrels!!LOL ;D

LOL! Oh I bet those squirrels were quite a sight! We have tons of such small animals (lots of bigger ones as well since we live out in the woods ) all over our property & we always enjoy watching their various antics. If I could bring them all in & snuggle every one of them I would, but that wouldn't be very fair to them since they are used to being wild & free. Sincerely, Laurasia

Oh you lucky thing Laurasia - having nature at your door! :-) I'm embedded in the city sadly, but we have a lot of green spaces here, enough to bring hedgehogs into our yard in the autumn at any rate. I love animals too, I've bonded a lot my my neighbour's dog, especially since Jenny died, I do spoil her with treats, the family tease me about it, calling our house 'mum's menagerie'!LOL
