Hello everyone.
Well I have always felt that I had lived a lifetime somewhere within the Dark, Middle, &/or Renaissance Ages & I have finally started recalling one. Interestingly enough I had not expected to recall any lifetime such as this when I received it. I set out to deliberately recall whatever it was that was triggering my extreme anxiety after playing "Resident Evil 4" & had expected that it would have been something from my lifetime as Hans. Instead I got this (though it is indirectly related to Hans' life).....
The term "sweating sickness" permeated my mind at the beginning of the meditation. Eventually I had a flash of someone placing a medieval-looking book in my hands which had some sort of ornately written foreign language in it that I couldn't decipher. As I gazed at it the writing morphed into the word "tower" in English & I was filled with dread & foreboding.
The rest of the recollection was not visual, but a very strong sensing of what was going on around me. I was a man. I was of one nationality (French perhaps), but living in a foreign kingdom under the rule of another king. My sovereign went back on their word & somehow betrayed the king that I was living under. I was being punished for what my sovereign had done, though I wanted to forsake him & swear my loyalty to the king & kingdom that I was living in.
Right after getting this recollection, I suddenly recalled the recollection of Hans being faced with the choice of killing innocents or saving his own life by holding his tongue. I immediately noticed the connection in that hans chose to hold his tongue to save his own life while this man tried repeatedly to decry his sovereign while no one would listen.
While researching what little information that I had received from this recollection (specifically exactly what "sweating sickness" is, since it weighed so heavily during the recollection), I discovered that it was an unknown epidemic which showed up 6 different times during the Tudor era. It was only known in the places which had dealings with England during those times, so at least that narrows things down a bit for me in regards to not only when but possibly where this lifetime occured.
Sincerely,
Laurasia
