Anyone know of any good self-hypnosis music for someone who "can't" be hypnotized (and/or scripts to go along with them), mp3s or CDs? I've tried several (plus a real hypnotherapist), but nothing's worked.

Hi, PixarFan, and belated welcome :]
Yay for another unhypnotisable person! I know your plight well >> Me and my immediate family have whatever gene that makes us impervious. I was kinda smug about that before I got into PL stuff, and now I'm sadz D: It's... annoying.
Anyway - I'd recommend Iseke's topic on Iso-Tones. Listening to them with earphones while lying down is a really good way to start meditating. Read a few guides on meditation (via google) - mostly to explain the breathing patterns and how to clear your mind - and give it a week or two of practice.
These tones are how I started to unlock my memories, but it's not magic and it will take time. When I'm sufficiently under, which I can tell by feeling incredibly relaxed and lightheaded, I think of something to direct my subconscious to this time frame - say a snippet of a song like Lili Marlene, or a pair of SS boots, or a swastika, or just letting the intent to remember this era surface. Then I wait and see if anything happens.
Meditation is the only method that's worked for me, and I've tried a lot of them. But everyone's different - I think Laurasia has memories listening to Rammstein, which is as different from mine as possible! - so it's really a question of experimenting and not giving up. Good luck, love :]

Hi Pixarfan. Indeed, as Silver mentioned, some of my most vivid recollections have come up while listening to rather "unconventional meditiation material". Namely bands such as Rammstein, NIN, Godhead, etc. I find that industrial metal really does well to stir up memories of life within the camps. In any case, don't be afraid to think outside of the box with this. Whatever you do that usually helps you to relax should be the first place that you start no matter how "unmeditative" it may seem. Case in point....Miss Bothmann & I were at a private spa for massages & while I waited for my turn on the table the masseuse gave me the remote for the sattelite system & told me to turn on whatever I would like to help me relax while me feet were soaking. Much to her shock & surprise when they were finished & she came out to get me for my massage I was relaxed & meditating quite well to a live NIN concert! So you see, whatever helps you to relax & causes your thoughts to turn more inward is the right way to go for you. Sincerely, Laurasia

Hi Doctorwhat. Oh no, you're DEFINITELY not alone. LOL! Like I said, industrial metal really seems to evoke the atmosphere of the camps...so it's no wonder that Rammstein works so well for many people. I mean not only is it industrial metal, but it is sang in German. So that is two reasons right there for a former Nazis mind to drift into its' Reich memories. I find that some of the "darker" & more somber classical pieces work quite well for pulling up memories too. My favorite piece is Albinoni's Adagio in G Minor. For a single artists' works try Beethoven. I listen to all kinds of different music, so I can offer you suggestions for a range of musical genres. Just let me know if you'd like any ideas. Sincerely, Laurasia

Within the next 6 months I may create a course on how to not only tap into past life memories but to use past life astrology to understand your own chart. I was speaking with my publisher earlier today and he suggested the best thing to do with a release of a book is to develop a product. I cannot do this now as I have other commitments and other unrelated plans.. but I need to think about this and start brainstorming.

Msmir, that is an awesome idea! I will definitley be right up for that!
Your astrological reading has been one of the best pieces of 'evidence' I have. I would recommend anyone to get one!
Even though I sometimes fear finding out more and recalling more, I feel compelled to, so accessing more recall is something I would like to hone as a skill.
Welcome Pixarfan! I, too, find music a great way to trigger feelings and recall. One of the best for me is the Carmina Burana opera. It does invoke the era. Gets me every time with some new flash of something and usually very intense feelings that seem to be from the depths of my being.

Wow! Sorry it took so long to reply in this thread. For some reason it wasnt marked as having any new replies for me. Anyway, I think that's a wonderful idea Miriam! I wish you luck in finding just the perfect product to go along with the new book. ;D Oh I know what you mean about Carmina Burana SS3! The first time that I heard that opera was when I was helping a former girlfriend with one of her theaters' plays & that song was featured during her portion. It has always touched me very deeply & darkly indeed. It's a VERY powerful piece. Sincerely, Laurasia
