Hi everyone. This year, the date of this holiday has been set as being May 1st. You can find out more about plans for this day (& week), as well as previous Holocaust Remembrance days at this website. As for myself, I plan to light some remembrance candles (perhaps my brass menorah, even though it isn't Hannukah ) & do some quiet reflections. Sincerely, Laurasia

Ours was Januray 27th. It was such a hard one for me as it was just after I realised what is going on in my life with RH. I went to our local event. I wanted the ground to open up and swallow me. But I was determined to go. I will light a candle here on May 1st too.

My college is doing a remembrance service on May 2nd, including a candlelight vigil and a discussion with Holocaust survivors. Needless to say, I will go to that remembrance, even if I have to walk five miles in pouring rain to get there! Hopefully it won't come to that... but I'm determined to get to that service.

I also will light a candle or two and say a few prayers for all of those who were victims of that horrible time.
