www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-13091920They believe that a low birth rate is not solved by immigration, as that results in problems and foreigners are do not fit into Finnish culture. Instead, young women should study less and spend more time giving birth to pure Finnish children. That is like a faint echo of Nazi ideology.

It does sound like that.
I must admit though that, as a woman who loves being a mum and living in a nation that does not value motherhood AT ALL, I think it is healthy that women are supported to become mothers, should they wish to.
For me, my mothehood has been probably the best thing about being a woman. That and being able to indulge in designer handbags, lol! Yet, society only values mothers if they are career women, (Raven mothers to use a German term), too! It is not respected to live off one's man, or the state. If one is a mother and to be respected one has to work too, or be of independent means. Certainly not to be financially dependent on anyone or, shock horror, the public purse.
It is the indifference shown to mothers which has resulted in many white British women choosing non white and sometimes non British husbands in my country. Because in other cultures it is not frowned upon to make a career choice to be a wife and mother. What is wrong with being a mother? Well, many British guys do not want to be the bread winner and be responsible. They want to have the fun but not have a kid out of it. Society needs to have a long conversation with itself as to how we value our kids. And if Western nations start to value kids less and less and discourage families even more then it will be no surprise if in my wonderful late Gran's words, "one day we may all be a lovely coffee colour", comes true. Women often turn to cultures who DO value kids and want families. And more women will marry out of their race.Right now there is a massive shift of British women marrying into Islam for this reason. I wrote a small book predicting this back in 1990 and it is now happening.
Though the Finns are using a racist way of looking at it, which I do NOT support, I do think it is positive to create a climate where women, (and it is not all women by any means), but those who do want kids and will be good Mums can have kids and are not shunned. Especially if they, like me, are preapred to put their kids 100% first and do a decent job of child rearing.
That is my view and I think the best aspect of the SS was that a woman who truly wanted a child could have one, whether she was married or not. I am a darn good mum. I am a better mum than many of my married friends. I will probably stay alone until my youngest is a teen. I made the decision to have my babies and they have been the most amazing part of my life, the only thing truly worth living for at times. If I lived in a country where guys wanted to be dads, (and many here do not), I may have actually got married and been very happy with a life of kitchen and kids, (but not church, lol).

What you said - I quite agree with. So I can't add much more.
