I think I listened to some of the samples of their music on Amazon.com. I used to play a free version of 'Plants vs. Zombies' and there is a mini-game they have with that - Wallnut bowling. I would play that song while bowling down zombies and would save my Explod-o-nuts for when there would be a whole bunch. Then I'd strategically place the Explod-o-nut and wipe out a high number of them! *evil grin* But - I used to be 'laughed at' when I was working on trying to help the body heal from Fibromyalgia - being told to 'accept it' and that I was looking for a 'miracle cure'. But I didn't listen - I was cheezed off at it and it was going to get it's rear end kicked...and it did. I didn't know Trans-Siberian did a version of that song...bet that's pretty cool.

Sounds like we have a lot of musical interests that are similar Prien. And I never would have guessed that the songs "Reise, Reise" & "Seemann" resonated within you. LOL! As for Eisbrecher...I've never heard of them before & shall have to check them out. Thanks Eiszeit! ;D Sincerely, Laurasia

I actually don't listen to industrial rock very much...or rock period. In fact I hardly listen to any music - and if I'm working on something I by far prefer classical.
The 'Reise Reise' song - the word 'Reise' can have a spiritual connotation with it that is associated with its original meaning 'arise'. That's the reason why I really like it - because the original seaman's language was preserved in the song.

Oooh, it seems like so many of us love Rammstein. "Reise, Reise" is actually one of my favorite songs by them...I think mostly for the musical composition as a whole.

Eiszeit - which ones of Eisbrecher's songs would you recommend for me to listen to that has a naval theme? I don't know the group well enough. Thanks

Looks like I'm yet another who is touched by Rammstein! I'm actually going to see them in concert in May, I'm very excited. Somehow I get the feeling that it will be a pretty powerful experience for me.

Eiszeit - which ones of Eisbrecher's songs would you recommend for me to listen to that has a naval theme? I don't know the group well enough. Thanks Hmmm... I'm trying to think. "Polarstern" is very naval in theme, as its 'lyrics' are the stats about a submarine (height, length, etc.) and is a very atmospheric track. Other songs... hmmm... the ones I can immediately think of aren't very naval in theme, but are very... They're very striking either way. "Vergissmeinnicht" is a beautiful song, "Leider" is very heavy, both musically and lyrically. If I find any more songs, I'll add them and let you know Very nice! I'm going to see them in May too! I saw them at their December 5th concert, and that was a very powerful experience. They were amazing; you'll love them.
