Hi everyone. Well now that the holidays are over I am hoping to have more time for the things that I'd like to accomplish. Like getting back to my writing. LOL! Our New Years Eve/New Years was wonderful. We watched the 48-hour "Twilight Zone" marathon (not all of it obviously ), which we always look forward to. We also had our two annual feasts...On the Eve hot & mild chicken wings, lasgna, & jello cake. On New Years Day cornish hens, mashed potatoes, yams, biscuits, pumpkin pie, & a blueberry jello dessert. So...how was everyone else's New Years? Did any of you make any resolutions? I have only ever made one New Years resolution in my life...to quit smoking. At least I was able to keep that resolution. ;D Sincerely, Laurasia

It was very overindulgent, to say the least! Now its time to cut down on the sweet stuff!

LOL, MIr. I ate way too much as well. But hey that's what the holidays are for, right? The funny thing is that I always have flashbacks of my Greek lifetime whenever I eat like a pig!!

At least you won the board game, Iseke! What were your New Years resolutions? If you don't mind sharing that is. LOL! Pretty sad considering that us Greeks were supposed to be all about "everything in moderation", eh Miss Bothmann? Sincerely, Laurasia

To expand my conscious awareness is my main resolution, and it is something I definitely want to focus on more earnestly than I have in the past!

Aww, nice resolution to strive for Iseke. Yes, Laur it is pretty funny when you think about it. But I do face the facts...we were some eating folks back then.

I think that's a beautiful resolution Iseke. I didn't start out the year with an actual "resolution" (I haven't made a New Years resolution since I quit smoking 13 years ago), but circumstances have come up that have made taking all around better care of myself very important at the beginning of this year. Sincerely, Laurasia
