Years ago, for a period of five years, I had a manager we'll call P. He declared staff meetings every two weeks, an inordinate number of which fell at or near the full moon. After observing events for several months, I approached P privately, "any of those meetings at or near the full moon, three times as ugly as the rest. If you don't believe me, let's just take a look at this file of the meeting minutes and the calendar. If you changed the scheduling just a bit, you could have shorter, more peaceful, more productive meetings." He laughed, "actually, you're the first to notice. I like watching that stuff." Over time, I enjoyed the entertainment of it too, it appealed to my then but no longer sense of Schadenfreude. Still, it did make me wonder, about people in general. Are we westerners so that thoroughly indoctrinated in the modern science is king, pooh pooh everything else syndrome, that only two people out of twenty understand elmentary concepts like the full moon? Scary thought.

Unfortunately yes McCoy, many people don't think about/believe in such things.
Sincerely, Laurasia

I don't believe in such things and all I can say is that I'm happier for it really. I suppose it is mainly due to having undone twice over destructive belief systems - first was the nonsense from the Christianity, and then came the nonsense relating to the New Age 'Establishment'. I'm just more of a self sovereignity kind of guy.
