Hi, I am Brian Ruhe in Vancouver, BC and I was invited into this forum by Miriam because she saw my You Tube video at my Brian Ruhe channel called: The Nazi Past Life of a Buddhist Teacher? Please check it out to see my story: www.youtube.com/watch?v=AkNVP0IPiIo&feature=g-upl I think that I was a Nazi in my last life. From age 5 - 8 I had a recurring very powerful experience at night of being paralyzed, feeling a vibrational state and seeing a swastika rolling over me. It was a mental impression in my mind and the experience peaked out when the swastika was above me. The vibrational state is typical of an out of body experience and I would hang on to the bed to make sure I wouldn't leave my body. I was scared at the time but I always felt good about my past life. I've never felt guilty about it. As a kid I was drawn to TV shows with marching Nazis and scenes of Adolf Hitler. I felt that these were my people and I wanted to go and join them. I feel fine about this today as well. In the past two years with the help of an old German man nearby who is a scholar on Nazi Germany and You Tube and revisionist history books, I'm piecing together a very meaningful changed belief about Hitler and Nazi Germany and their mysteries. My exploration continues in earnest.

Hello Brian. Welcome to the forum. I am very glad that you've decided to share your story with the rest of the members. I was also a Nazi in my last incarnation....specifically a death camp Commandant (& member of the Einsatzgruppen units). While not typical, it is true that some of us do not experience past life-related guilt. There is nothing wrong in that, so long as one does understand that what happened back then was wrong & they have learned from the experiences of what occured in those days. If you don't mind sharing, I'd be interested in hearing more about your changed beliefs regarding Adolf Hitler & the Nazis. I certainly hope that you enjoy yourself here. And if you have any questions or concerns please feel free to PM either myself or one of the Moderators, Msmir & Lizzie66. Sincerely, Laurasia

Hello Brian... :-) Welcome to SR and thank you for sharing your story, interesting to watch your video and hear about your Buddhist beliefs too. I have to wonder if during your Nazi lifetime you were perhaps one of the scientists that investigated Tibetan culture and ethnicity, it might explain why your soul chose to follow that spiritual path in your present incarnation? Many of us ex-Nazis are practitioners of a spiritual path in this present time, though most seem to have reincarnated with leanings towards Shamanism/Earth-honouring beliefs (like myself) or an attraction to Islam. I recall reading a little about Tibetan Shamanism, (is it 'Bon-po'?) which I believe is quite integrated into the local Buddhist traditions. The present Dali Lama is also I believe, a spokesperson for indigenous spiritual traditions worldwide, so once again I see a link between us all as a soul group. I would certainly like to know something of your changed beliefs about Hitler (as Laurasia mentioned) too, and your thoughts on Nazi 'mysticism' as a few of us here, are also very intrigued by that side of the Third Reich. I've read a book about the work of Ian Stevenson, fascinating to say the least, especially his documentations of children born straight into a new body, like the little boy in Thailand that you mention in your video. I too, was born to a family who had direct experience of Nazi oppression, which I think now is no coincidence! I'm also curious about your statement that you 'feel no guilt' about your Nazi past endeavours, perhaps you'd like to elaborate? As Miriam pointed out to me when I first posted about my own overwhelming guilt, that too much guilt is self-defeating, yet I also feel that there was a much broader plan to the Holocaust which many of us are searching for and beginning to find, I, and I suspect others here would be very interested to know your opinions on that matter. Thanks again for sharing Brian, I hope you find the boards here interesting and helpful on your own journey :-)

Welcome Brianruhe! I think that we have many experiences to share and reflect upon. I have also been seeing the Nazi swastika flag many times, a couple of time with Hitler at the podium speaking, with the Nazi flag directly behind him. It's that red flag with the swastika turned at an angle, and Hitler has the red swastika arm band on his left arm. I have seen these things, so that I know that I was a young Nazi, working in a factory as an extension of my BDM service. I was a young woman during this time, and I attended these rallies, were many of the top Nazi party leaders spoke. Yes Hitler did give us people a feeling of self worth that we did not have before, that we could accomplish great things through our unity. Yes he did sway the masses with his hypnotic, powerful addresses. I came away from such rallies almost completly worn out, drained emotionally. I felt swallowed up by the crowd at times, and at times I wanted to get away from all that maddness, yet I knew that I couldn't. But I knew that it was my role to serve as a Nazi with absolute loyality and perseverance. It was our duty.

Welcome! I am currently studying Tibetan Buddhism (new to it) and learning a lot.
UPDATE: Just watched your video, and I wish that your first book Freeing the Buddha was available as an ebook for the Kindle. I'd love to read it, but I only Kindle these days.
I am particularly interested in the chapter you mention in your book on Hitler and Tibetan Buddhism. I am one of the people who was very involved in studying that path and reincarnation, and I'd really like to see what you have to say about it.
I hope to see more from you on the subject.
