Is anyone familiar with any of "Occult" related hunts that Hitler sent us on? I have a blurry idea of what was happening, but far as I understand as of yet, I was an SS Officer who had previously served in the German Army, and had been transferred due to my Doctorate in Ancient Religions, as before the Third Reich, I had studied and taught on the subject of Ancient Societies. Whatever I was sent to retrieve on my last mission, it was important to us and the allies, as my only memory is that upon arrival at the archaeological site, my squad of 12 were overwhelmed and captured, only to be executed without trial.
I have a vague Idea as to what I was sent to find, but comprehending something in this life that I hardly understood in that life has proven to be very difficult. I'd appreciate hearing any input as to activities the party was involved with that may relate to my memories. Thanks!

There are a number of well-researched history books on the subject.
There are also a great many completely fanciful books as well, including the most well-known, the Spear of Destiny, which the author admits in the introduction was channelled and thus has no bearing on reality. He wasn't even in Germany when the events described in it take place. Reading that book, which was given to me as a gag gift by a friend, cured me of my interest in the subject of "Nazi Occultism".
I recommend Himmler's Crusade by Christopher Hale and The Secret King by Stephen Flowers and Michael Moynihan as an introduction to the subject. There are biographies of Otto Rahn (the inspiration for the fictional character Indiana Jones, which might interest you as well.

There is a lot of nonsense out there, but there is also a lot in the occult side of Nazism, especially the Vril society and Thule. I also recommend Himmler's Camelot, if you can get it. It s expensive. I have been researching this area for over twenty years and there is some very interesting technological research into anti-gravity that came from these groups.
There is going to be massive interest in this area soon. It is really getting popular. But you do have to sort the wheat from the chaff in terms of what research can be verified and what cannot.

Himmler's Camelot is an excellent book on the subject, with a focus on Wewelsburg Castle and the activities in and around it, as well as Karl Maria Wiligut, but it's pricey as it is out of print. Expect to shell out between $100 and $150 for it. Wewelsburg Castle is now a museum, and you might find some of the information in the Virtual Tour on their website of interest: www.wewelsburg.de/en/wewelsburg-1933-1945/dauerausstellung/ausstellungsplan.php

Thank you all for you recommendations, I've already ordered copies of Himmler's Crusade as well as The Secret King. I've had a massive interest lately in the parties understanding and beliefs in Atlantis due to some of the memories I've had and so far it has been nearly impossible to find anything on the subject outside of shoddy youtube videos, so I'm extremely excited to pick up these reads!

@ SS*3*,
If you don't mind me asking, how far along was their research into anti gravity? I've heard there were working prototypes, anything conclusive on that?

Check out Viktor Schauberger's work. There is a very interesting DVD called UFO secrets of the Third Reich. Don't be put off by the name, it is a serious documentary and although in parts the background music is too loud, (much as I love Orf), it goes into the science too. It is a good introduction to the subject. May be hard to find as it s years old, approx 1994, but it is a great starting point. Think you can probably find it on YouTube. Yes, this is the link. m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=AODdQ7WgNdc&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DAODdQ7WgNdc
