Hello all; another reincarnated Nazi checking in here, and one who's rather awful at introducing himself in this life, so please excuse me.
To give you my story (or what I know of my story so far, at least) in a nutshell, I began to explore reincarnation and past lives only a couple of years ago, with the help of a friend of mine who was (and still is) much more experienced in these things, after an extremely vivid dream that presented with me with what I now understand to be snippets of a past life. After a great deal of introspection, research and attempts at past-life regression (including some tremendous successes and some spectacular failures), I've managed to piece together a fair bit of who I once was.
I estimate that I was born circa 1910, give or take a few years, somewhere in rural Germany - my name was Johannes, called Hans for short. I was in the Wehrmacht by the early 1930s, though I don't know when exactly I joined, and I can recall being an ardent and committed National Socialist during the '30s. I was married to a woman by the name of Helga (who I believe I know again in this life), and sometime between 1932 and 1934 we had a single child; a son. During the war I saw service as a relatively senior officer on the Eastern Front, though I have no pre-Barbarossa military recollections so far, and participated in at least one civilian massacre. By 1945 I held the rank of Colonel, though I think my final promotion came late in the war. I was killed by Soviet troops with half a dozen men six days before the war ended, on May 2nd 1945, when attempting to surrender to them following the order to capitulate.
In this life, I'm more or less everything my old self would have resented: British, completely descended from immigrants who came to my country in the last century (including German), a democratic socialist who's part of a (minor) left-wing political dynasty that includes anti-apartheid activists and an anti-militarist/pacifist. I've never been able to discuss my past life with anyone else who lived in the same time period, and when I stumbled upon this forum the other day, I thought it might be a good and interesting experience - so here I am.
