At work, I've known a pastlife Jew for 17 years. She's so obnoxious she never lasts in any group for more than about a year; then she's chomping at the bit to move again, they're forming a lynch mob or both. As well, she launches 3 or 4 grievances per year over utter trivialities; I suspect simply for the joy of it. Now the tricky part, I've been conned into being her ghost writer on this bizantine nonsense. Though no one else knows, I have to have some justification in my own mind for this. It's her first draft is so wildly inflammatory that I manage to pull the punches just enough, so management doesn't go for her jugular. And since her writing skills are not as good as mine, she doesn't realize what I'm doing. I wouldn't mind if she ended up homeless, but her dog and her parrot? God forbid. I'm sure this gets me at least a few karmic brownie points, saving her butt from her own stupidity. Oh well.

LOL! At least you care about the dog and the parrot. It isn't the poor animals fault that the owner is so stupid.

Helping out is one thing, doing her work for her is another McCoy. There's a saying you may of heard of that goes "If you do it once, they'll expect you to do it forever." Perhaps she has noticed what you are doing & has decided to be lazy & careless in her writing knowing that you will "clean it up" for her. I'm sure that you have enough to do with your own work. If she's unable to perform her own job than she really doesn't deserve it now does she? If she were to lose her job because she is unable to perform it properly that has nothing to do with your karma, hon. It's her job, let her do it. Sincerely, Laurasia

I agree with Laurasia on this, and I have learned my lesson from doing similar things in the past. It is one thing to help, but another to go beyond your limits. It will leave you drained in the end, believe me. It's her job, let her do it. It's not your responsibility.

Please allow me to clarify, I am definitely not doing her job. The ghost writing is entirely confined to situations of grievances and transfer requests. So, I'm softening this stuff up so she doesn't get fired; but otherwise staying out of what happens on her job.
As an aside, you may ask why I have been aiding the pastlife Jew and not the pastlife nazi. No, it's not discrimination; simply the pastlife nazi's job is never at risk; just her promotability. Best wishes.
