Hello everyone.
My name is Mandy and I am a 32 year old female in this life. I have many interests including archaeology, history, and anything that relates to the past. Maybe it is because that I immerse myself in it that I remember my past incarnations so well.
In my last incarnation, I was an Austrian girl named Annaleise (she chose to go by Anna). I was born in 1924 in either Vienna or just on the outskirts. There are still a lot of questions regarding my family, but this is what I do know. I had an older brother named Fredrick who chose to fight on the Eastern Front...such was his hatred for the Russians. My father was from what I know so far either a very prosperous businessman or a diplomat. We lived very comfortably in Austria, being in the upper class of society. My brother and I were both sent to Germany to attend Hitler Youth schooling (when Anna first began school, the Nazi Party was still not legal in Austria). We had another house in Berlin, which my father went to all the time. He was a staunch Nazi Party member, and he raised my brother and I accordingly. He had to keep his affiliation quiet in Austria until just before the Anschluss in 1938. My mother died either in childbirth with me or when I was very young, because she was not there. I believe that we also had a 3rd villa in Italy on the coast of the sea, because my father travelled there a lot.
While Anna was in the BDM, she took everything to heart, eventually becoming a leader over the younger girls. The Anschluss of 1938 was the happiest day of her life for two reasons. Austria was finally annexed into the Reich, and that is the day that she met Hans. (Yes, I will tell all about that later.. ;D)
Anna and Hans were together from 1938 until the end of the war. They did not see each other for long periods of time, and Anna longed for that next letter...that next correspondence from Hans just to be able to talk to him in some way. Eventually, she relocated to Berlin where Hans purchased a house near Wilhelmstrasse (downtown where all the action was). Tragically, Anna died in the fall of Berlin in either the end of May or the first of June, 1945.
Anna enjoyed many things...especially the opera! Her favorite composer was Mozart...her favorite color was red....she loved so many things typical of an upper class girl of the time. But most of all she adored Hans from the moment she met him.
