Almost three years ago I had an unusual dream,-as I've written in my greeting topic-it seems that was a reincarnation dream. According to the dream I was an SS officer named Kurt. In September 2010, when I saw that dream, I started to "search" about it, but after some moths or maybe after half year I neglected this theme. But in this year it comes into my mind again with other great questions of life, karma etc. So, I tried shelf-hypnosis this spring, I used an mp3 file, it was a guided hypnosis. After a relaxation you can imagine yourself in your PL and recall a nice memory from it. I tried it maybe two or three times, finally I was in 1943, somewhere in Germany in a park with a beautiful, long black haired girl. But I'm very skeptical... somehow I think this "information" about my PL is not reliable. However, at times I think I loved a Jewish girl with long black wavy hair in my PL as Kurt and maybe I committed suicide later. But these are just ideas.

This seems like you are having some recall of this PL, and getting some details. Keep up your efforts to learn more, many of the memories will come in images as you meditate ( self hypnosis ) It was risky indeed for an SS officer to fall in love with a Jewish girl. This aspect of you PL as Kurt is very tragic. As SS it would have been incredible risky to be seen in a park with a Jewish girl, and in another way exceptionally brave and rebellious against the Nazi protocol. It may well have indeed cost you your position, and this may have led to your decision to take your own life. Very tragic in the midst of this terrible time.

OK, but there is a very important thing, during the real meditation the brain waves are theta or delta. I was very relaxed, but my brain waves wasn't theta/delta, it couldn't be. I got to know this long after my attempts. As I know the real meditation is not guided and it happens in silence... it's a more deeper and difficult, but attainment (with lot of practice) thing. This is new to me, I must read and learn about it more.
And there is another thing... before I saw my dream, years ago, I wanted to write a story about an SS officer, who felt in love with a Jewish woman, but the girl were killed and after that the officer committed suicide. I wanted to write it in the point of view of the officer. But this is just a simple imagination.
I trust more in the dream, than in my attempts what I wrote above. Usually when I really want to remember, I "force" myself to remember something from my PL, it doesn't work.

Sometimes it is more of a gut feeling, you feel a part of that SS officers life and connet. The fact that you imagined writing this story may actually be further confirmation that you were motivated by this PL. Perhaps you should write the story, it sounds like it would be a great work!

Hi Why-att. I have to agree with Gumby here. While it is true that only you will ultimately know what is the truth of your past life, you shouldn't doubt something just because it seems implausible either. The time that we are all talking about was one of great societal upheaval & many people were caught in the crossfire in varying ways. So it's not really that unlikely that something like this could have occured. Continue with your research & write EVERYTHING down in a file somewhere. you never know what bit of "craziness" might suddenly make sense . Sincerely, Laurasia

Thank you for the feedbacks. I don't think that I'll write the story... OK, maybe one day. I already use to write in my diary what I "find" about my PL, but not everything... after that I'll be efficient. I try to listen to my inner voice, to my intuition.

I have always been writing stories and many if not most of them I realized were from historical periods I have been in. As a teenager I wrote a lot of Holocaust stories from all points of view - Jewish teenager, Nazi daugther, SS officer, etc. Based on my stories only it would indeed be hard to figure out "which" one is a past life. Sometimes I would "see" things in my inner eye and a lot of times, it was a camp guard in love with one of the female inmates, and it turns out, later I would get experiences of Fritz being in love with a girl from the camp and he helped her escape or get out by doing some paperwork. It must have been very risky and he knew that. I would have this very deep desire to find the woman again.
Btw I studied brain waves under meditation a lot... what you describe there is probably alpha1, which corresponds to the state of "wakeful awareness". Your body is completely restful but alert inside... this is indeed "real meditation". It happens spontaneously too. The slow ones such as delta are more prominent in the sleep state...
All the best, Demi

Hello why-att
I can understand your scepticism as I do not get good results with hypnosis, self-hypnosis and meditation myself. I think the methods do not work well for everybody. To me recollections seem to come always in a spontaneous way in dreams and flashbacks. I think it is good to trust your gut feeling and the very first impression to "know" what is really true. I think maybe the scene with the girl was more symbolic. Maybe as Kurt you were in love with a Jewish girl and you wished you could be together with her, but it never really happened. Maybe because of this you wanted to write the story, so unconsciously you could live out and think about the different possibilities and alternatives of your PL.
Liebe Grüße Sunstar

Thank you for the info about alpha1, Demi.
That's a very interesting theory, Sunstar... maybe this is a connection between fantasy and PL memories.

Hello Why-att and welcome to SR :-)
I also retrieved a number of my own PL memories from MP3 self hypnosis files (I served in the Kriegsmarines and died on the Scharnhorst in 1943). I was skeptical too for a while, but then when I began to check against the facts - like date and place of birth, rank and details about the Austrian HJ uniforms, I found there were startling corroborations with what I'd recovered in the hypnosis sessions. The name of this man is even on the crew list (right age and rank too) - one of the many casualties out in the North Atlantic battle! It also triggered dreams in me and spontaneous memories, so I'm now convinced it did access something :-)
