I fully understand that a good amount of those in the uniform weren't exactly Aryan supremacist. Also, xenophobia comes part and parcel with nationalism (Danke Schön, Herr Bismarck). Antisemitism was one of the -isms that were popular then. Henry Ford was a Nazi-sympathizer after all.
I have no malice toward any of those who contributed to mine and the millions of others' deaths.
I want to see the humanness of these people. I want to know that they were fathers, sons, etc. who enjoyed reading, or boating, or had a cat named Herr Dr. Mittens as a child.
Further, if I can be a means for these people to find some healing and solace, then I am willing to be available for that purpose.

I don't think that there is anything wrong with you ansking these questions Fritz. I think that they are good for all of us to ponder. I find that sharing with others & being able to express that Hans was not simply a cold-blooded, mindless murderer is very healing...for myself & others as well. Also being vocal about the subject helps in making sure that the memories of this horrific time in human error are not forgotten &, therefore, not repeated. Sincerely, Laurasia

Munchenruth you are already helping others heal. Loving those who wronged you to the extreme is huge and you are sure good at seeing through the illusion to the truth. What a wonderful soul you are. I'm curious about the kind of suffering (and other effects) you've faced in this life having been on the victom side. I've found from a few others who were nazi's and already some common situations are evident but i haven't heard yet from any of the victoms about what hey are dealing with in this incarnation. Awesome thread by the way.
