Hi everyone. I thought that I would share a recurrent experience that I've had recently with all of you. There is a local store that we frequent which has its' public restrooms in the back of the building. It's rather dark back & secluded back there giving the whole setting a rather creepy feel. The restrooms themselves are within a back hallway of the store with the men's room being at the end of the hall. While the doors to the restrooms are left open, the lights are turned off when they're not being used. Well the men's room, being the room at the end of the hallway, is bigger than the women's restroom & has a single stall within it which you can see while waiting for your turn in the ladies' room. I don't know why but the openness of that darkened room along with the "closed off space" of the stall within it gives me a major case of the willies. As though I'm heading for a mob hit or something, though I don't feel as though it is my own hit that I'm going to. Of course I highly suspect that these feelings are probably coming up from my lifetime of working with the Gestapo & SD as Hans. All that I know is that that darkened back room makes me extremely anxious & oftentimes nauseous. Sincerely, Laurasia

Interesting! I have had places feel like that to me too and it is unsettling, especially lacking the necessary context! At times like those I have to stop and meditate on why it inspires those feelings in me. Wow...I can imagine the memories that men's room area is stirring in you must be heavy. Do keep us posted!

Hi Iseke.
The room hasn't given me any actual recollections as of yet, but the feelings that I get from it are VERY dark indeed. So I don't expect that any memories that are triggered by that room are going to be pleasant.
Sincerely, Laurasia

Yeah different places and structures will alone trigger past life memories. The negative ones are the worst, as I know how I felt when I was on my LA trip last year waiting for the Simpsons ride at Universal Studios.. with all of those people in line in the closed space (and the walls being blue too), ICK.

I have this recurring dream of being in a large locker room, there are benches and dressing stalls througout the room, some showers and toilets. I am in there alone, I am looking for a stall where I can get dressed, but I am afraid that someone will see me. I feel that there is someone in there watching me, then I hear a man whistling, it is a janitor, and I feel terrorfied.

Hi Gumby. Hhmmm. It's interesting that this is a recurring dream. That usually means something when they recur. Maybe it is past life related or you are just supposed to interpret something from the dream? Sincerely, Laurasia

I know the hallway to which Laurasia is referring to, because we go to that store all the time. It is creepy..even without PL connotations. I cannot believe that a public building wouldn't put up a few more light bulbs, you know?

I hate to bring back an older post, but I thought this was interesting. This reminds me of something that has happened to me a while back.
One of the Cigar/tobacco shops I like to frequent is in the town square of a very old town, most of which was built in the late 1800's/ early 1900's. Normally I am able to park directly out front but every once in awhile the spots are filled and I park in the back. The easiest way to get to the shop is through a narrow passageway (about8-10 feet wide) between the buildings, which is very much to the period. Its outside and fairly well lit, as these things go and the town itself is very safe, but I always felt very apprehensive going through there, although I couldnt really pin down why and that feeling isnt something I normally get. To be honest, it really bothered me.
One day it finally clicked. When I was young, during the Depression, I had been jumped and beat up by two older boys for the food I was trying to bring home (Id like to say I fought well but I didnt have a chance). While the passageway wasnt the same, it was similar enough to cause the same feelings.
I would suspect that may be the case with yours as well I do find it interesting, however, that oftentimes, at least for myself, the places that have the most immediate resonance are those that remind us of bad experiences.

Hi Brooklynfan. Don't worry about that, we don't mind. I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who gets these weird out-of-the-blue feelings regarding certain places. Perhaps sometime (when there are no male customers using/waiting for the bathroom) I'll force myself to go in there & see if any recollections come up. Sincerely, Laurasia
