For me it started with dreams, and an increase of "deja vu" feelings. Out of the blue, it seemed that anything could trigger a recollection (though I did not realize for most of my life that is what it is). For instance, when I was in about 5th grade, we began to touch on life during the Depression and the 2 World Wars in school. I opened up my textbook one day, and saw a vintage hairstyle from the 1940's, and I remember thinking "I should style my hair that way again." For me any little thing can set off one of my various past lives. From movies to books to hearing people talking in foreigh languages. Literally, anything.

My memories come by dreams, mostly, although I have had the good fortune to have some professional regressions. However, to be honest, the majority of the memories I've had have been spontaneous and in dreams--I just don't get as much out of regressions.
And occasionally something random triggers a recollection, and I think, "I miss ____" or "____ used to do that, too".

mainly dreams. but theyre not like normal dreams, where you're still yourself (in this lifetime). it's hard to explain, but i'm sure people might know what i'm talking about sometimes a photo in a book or on a show/movie will trigger something in me.

Yep, I completely understand. Sometimes I'm myself in this lifetime, other times I'm a very vague and blurred out him. It's odd. It's like my mind's censoring itself; I feel like if I had a clear picture of him, I'd be able to find him easier...
